Subprocessors

This page is a draft under legal review: it describes the service as it works today, and the reviewed wording will replace it.

These are the companies that process data for Jumaah, grouped by what they do. Each receives only what its role needs.

This website

Cloudflare hosts this website (Cloudflare Pages), protects its forms from bots with Cloudflare Turnstile, and counts visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It handles the technical details of each visit, such as the IP address and browser.

Resend delivers the messages sent through the contact form to our inbox. It receives what you write in the form: your name or mosque, your contact details and your message.

Payments

Moyasar processes card and mada payments for subscriptions. It receives the payment details you enter and the invoice amount. Card numbers never reach Jumaah, and Moyasar never receives any sermon.

Machine translation

Anthropic, OpenAI, Google (Cloud Translation) and DeepL may draft translations, but only those the platform enables or the mosque configures itself. They receive the Arabic text of a sermon paragraph, the target language and the mosque’s glossary terms, and nothing about accounts or worshippers. Qur’anic verses are never sent to them to be translated: a reviewer attaches an approved, published translation. Some of these providers process data outside the Kingdom, and the platform says so before such a provider is switched on.

Running the platform

Application hosting and database: the servers that run the platform and store mosques’ data. The provider and its region are being confirmed and will be listed on this page.

Notification email: the platform’s email provider, which receives the recipient’s name and address and the notice itself, such as an invitation, a security alert or an invoice. The provider and where it processes are being confirmed and will be listed on this page.

Error tracking: none. Error reports stay in the platform’s own logs and are not sent to any outside service.
